  Under new management!! Amazingly renovated cottages with all the creature comforts. All new furniture. Perfect location close to town. The new owner Debbie is eager to help and make your stay amazing and memorable.

  What a splendid cottage to stay at. Close to town which mean the ability to walk down to the river and enjoy the sunset. The service provided here was amazing, friendly and helpful whenever you needed. The cottage was pretty, lovely little touch of coffee and snacks provided and extremely clean and comfortable.

  Our week long visit was marred by the fact that the owners were NOT the least bit interested in their clients' comfort - e.g. the loungeroom seating was totally inappropriate, too large partially blocking the bedroom door entry & unsuitable for people with limited mobility such as us (we did inform them of our situation). Nor were they interested in trying to find a solution to our discomfort. It was cold, wet and late afternoon when we arrived & the fire was not even laid much less alight and the kindling supplied was unsuitable consisting mainly of thorny rose cuttings. A very disappointing environment in which to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We will return to Stanthorpe, a delightful area the people are very friendly & aware of what is required to develop & enhance their tourist trade. But NEVER will we return to Briar Rose Cottage.
